Don't Forget Me Lyrics

Don't forget me everybody says
At a certain age when everything is moving so fast
Don't forget me every girl has said
And I'll remember each and every one until I'm deadDon't forget me as the soul's diminishing the body's need to live
Remembering the wish to sing and hopeful of what morning brings to life
Not me.Don't forget me, those other boys forgot
but I'm the one who did their bidding every time and did not
To be forgotten is the most frightening thought
for all those boys and girls and other friends whom time forgotDon't forget me as the soul's diminishing the body's need for love
Remembering the wish to sing and hopeful of what morning brings to us
Not me, not me, not meDon't forget me are the words she'd say
When we were young and on the beach and all drenched in spray
But when moon rose the sunburn still burned raw
Cause through all the years there's really only one I sawAnd don't forget me is the whispered wish that travels my lips to your ears
Five at fifteen is forever to remember the intervening years
Not me (don't forget me)

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Formed in Boston in 1987, According to Songfacts, Buffalo Tom's name is derived from the band Buffalo Springfield and the first name of the drummer Tom Maginnis. The band epitomized the rise of indie guitar rock in the 1990s, but unfortunately they had only limited commercial success, despite the consistently high quality of their records. While Buffalo Tom never 'officially' broke up, they took a seven year break, starting around 1999/2000.
