Don't Go Away Lyrics

I met you last night, it was really alright
We got along
We partied awhile, you gave me the smile
Nothin' went wrongHold me close
Hold me really tight
Go ahead
Make me feel alrightDon't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I need to make it
Don't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I needThe very next day, you saw us play
It was really a kick
Drippin' in sweat, I got very wet, honey
You did the trickHold me close
Hold me really tight
Go ahead
Make me feel alrightDon't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I need to make it
Don't go away, I'm so happy

You're just what I needHold me close
Hold me really tight
Go ahead
Make me feel alrightDon't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I need to make it
Don't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I needI stayed the night, it was really alright
I need our heat
I got kinda cold, you got really bold
Ya said, come to meHold me close
Hold me really tight
Go ahead
Make me feel alrightDon't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I need to make it
Don't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I needDon't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I need to make it
Don't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I needDon't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I need to make it
Don't go away, I'm so happy
You're just what I needDon't go away

The Runaways were an American all-girl rock band from Los Angeles, California, who performed from 1975 to 1979. Believed at the time to have been a novelty act formed by producer Kim Fowley, who thought the notion of five teenage girls dressed in leather and lingerie performing heavy metal music was highly marketable, the band released its eponymous first album in 1976. The Runaways were formed in late 1975 by drummer Sandy West and rhythm guitarist Joan Jett after they had both introduced themselves to producer Kim Fowley, who gave Jett’s phone number to West.
