Don't Go Believing Lyrics

Written by Ray Hedges / Nigel Butler / Hear'Say
Everything about you babe just makes sense
You're my sweet memory, that's right (that's right)
Every time I'm without you I reminisce
About the way we kissed that night
You got nothing more to prove
(You got nothing more to prove)
My heart will always belong to you
Don't go believing
I could never lose my love for you
Well need to let you know
It's my heart you're stealing
I gladly give it up for free
Baby you are everything I need
Don't pretend that you can't see what's going on
You know where you belong, with me (oh yeah)
There's something shining in your eyes
Portrays the truth, I'll take the rough the smooth, you'll see

You got nothing more to prove
(You got nothing more to prove) oh yeah
My heart will always belong to you
Don't go believing
I could never lose my love for you
Well I need to let you know
It's my heart you're stealing
I gladly give if up for free
Baby you are everything I need
Never knew what this felt like
You're my angel in oh so many ways
Don't you know what you're doing
I want you to stay (stay yeah)
Don't go believing
I could never lose my love for you
Well I need to let you know
It's my heart you're stealing
I gladly give it up for free
Baby you are everything I need

Hear'Say had their 15 minutes of fame as a result of winning the ITV's "Popstars" reality TV talent show in February 2001. After an album and a few singles, Kym Marsh left the band in early 2002 for a solo career. She was replaced by Johnny Shentall, but he failed to inspire. The band split at the end of 2002 as a result of some spiteful negative publicity in the UK tabloid press.
The following year Myleene Klass started doing TV presenting and has released an album of classical piano music. She has also become a high profile model for Marks & Spencer.
Kym Marsh's solo career was unsuccessful but she subsequently joined the cast of UK soap opera 'Coronation Street' and remains a major character in the show.
Suzanne Shaw starred in the stage version of 'Grease' before winning ITV's 'Dancing on Ice.' She recently starred in 'Chicago' in London's West End and now has a major role in UK soap Emmerdale.
