Don't Leave Me Lyrics

The willow weeps and having wept
Can weep no more but still it cries for me
It cries in sympathy, it knows that you are gone
Don't leave me, babyThere was a time when you were mine
And not so long ago I used to say
You'd never go away, you'd never leave me lonely
Don't leave me, babyThink about the happy times, the groovy times
Don't tell me they are gone, I just can't carry on
I know that you're not here
You're not near anymoreDon't leave me, baby
Things are gonna work out fine
Don't leave me, baby
Think I'm going out of my mind
Don't leave me, baby
Don't leave me behindBabe, babe, babe, baby, yeah
Babe, babe, babe, baby, yeah
Babe, babe, babe, baby, yeah
Babe, babe, babe, baby, yeahThe willow weeps and having wept

Can weep no more but still it cries for me
It cries in sympathy, it knows that you are gone

Harry Edward Nilsson III (born June 15, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York - died January 15, 1994), sometimes credited simply as Nilsson, was an American singer-songwriter with a three octave vocal range. He won Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Male Vocal Performance for "Everybody's Talkin'" (1970) and "Without You" (1973), also his two biggest hits. Although both the aforementioned songs were composed by others, he was a talented songwriter in his own right, having written "One", a hit single for Three Dog Night.
