Don't Leave Me Lonely Lyrics

I woke up this morning
And my back door was open
I knew that you left me behind
You had been by my side
We had nothing to hide
But I didn't think
You'd change your mind.Darling you know
When my feelings are showing
It's hard to keep my love in control
Don't leave me lonely
You know I want you only
You'll always have my love to hold
But everybody knows what I need
I need love.Chorus:
Don't leave me lonely tonight
Stay home and make it right
Don't leave me lonely tonight
Stay at home and hold me tight. So if you've got your doubts

Or you're feelin' down and out
Just pick up your telephone
I'll always be there
To show you that I care
I'll see that you're never alone.Stay by my side
We've got nothing to hide
We know this love of ours is real
We'll never be lonely
If you just love me only
You'll always know just how I feel
Everybody knows just what we need
We need love.Chorus:
Don't leave me lonely tonight
Stay home and make it right
Don't leave me lonely tonight
Stay at home and hold me tight.I woke up this morning
And my back door was open
I knew that you left me behind
You had been by my side
We had nothing to hide
But I didn't think
You'd change your mind.Darling you know
When my feelings are showing
It's hard to keep my love in control
Don't leave me lonely
You know I want you only
You'll always have my love to hold
But everybody knows what we need
We need love.Chorus:
Don't leave me lonely tonight
Stay home and make it right
Don't leave me lonely tonight
Stay at home and hold me tight.
