Don't Look Back Lyrics

Don't look back to the days of yesteryear,
You cannot live on in the past,
Don't look back. And I've known so many people
That still try to live on in the past,
Don't look back, oh no.And if I could call back all those days of yesteryear,
I would never grow old and I'd never be poor,
But darlin', those days are gone, oh yeah.Stop dreaming
And live on in the future,
But darlin', don't look back, oh no,
Don't look back, oh

John Lee Hooker (Coahoma County, Mississippi, August 22, 1917 – Los Altos, California, June 21, 2001) was a highly influential American blues singer, guitarist and songwriter. John Lee Hooker could be said to embody his own unique genre of the blues, often incorporating the boogie-woogie piano style and a driving rhythm into his masterful and idiosyncratic blues guitar and singing. His best known songs include "Boogie Chillen" (1948) and "Boom Boom" (1962).
