Don't Put a Lock On My Heart Lyrics

I got your letter in the mailbox, honey
Love flies, when you're far away
When I get home I'll give you all o' my moneyDon't put a lock on my heart
Don't put a lock on my heart
Don't put a lock on my heartTime will tell about romantic situations
Recollections are my only friend
I'll call you, baby, when I reach my destinationDon't put a lock on my heart
Don't put a lock on my heart
Don't put a lock on my heartWe can arbitrate with sexy incantations
Fill the void like we used to do
Growin' old is just a minor complicationDon't put a lock on my heart
Don't put a lock on my heart
Don't put a lock on my heart

He knew everything about it. And Butch was from the folk world. I was kinda the rock & roll guy, and we almost had a triad. We hit it off and started playing a lot together.
