Don't Say Goodbye Lyrics

Please believe me, I will never be untrue
And don't believe the jealous lies they told to you
Oh no, don't go, don't make this poor boy cry
I'll be true, I beg of you, don't say goodbyeNow don't you know I love you more than I can say?
And it would mean my life if you should run away
Oh no, don't go, don't make this poor boy cry
I'll be true, I beg of you, don't say goodbyeYou just won't listen to my pleas
You want me beggin' on my kneesSo sit right down and listen while I beg, you see
I'll never be untrue, so please believe in me
Oh no, don't go, don't make this poor boy cry
I'll be true, I beg of you, don't say goodbye
I'll be true, I beg of you, don't say goodbye

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
