Don't Stop By The Creek, Son Lyrics

Don't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Don't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Didn't hear my Daddy's voice, and I almost end up deadTake ol' Glannon Road, you don't have to go that way
Take ol' Glannon Road, you don't have to go that way
Didn't hear my Daddy's voice, and that's where I went astrayDon't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Don't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Didn't hear my Daddy's voice, and I almost end up deadGo right straight to school, son, don't be labeled as a fool
Go right straight to school, son, don't be labeled as a fool
But fall in the crowd, that meant one dip in the poolDon't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Don't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Didn't hear my Daddy's voice, and I almost end up dead
Don't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Don't stop by the creek, son, that's what my Daddy said
Didn't hear my Daddy's voice, and I almost end up dead
