Don't Talk to Me Like That Lyrics

I wish I could be like a statue in your room
Stone silent, I'd wait to hear your secrets and understand
Why your words cut so deep, only you can, wound me, now
Don't you talk to me like that, yeah
Don't you talk to me like that
Don't you talk to me like thatSo clearly I see that I have no strategic reason
This soldier retreats perhaps to fight another day
Swords broken, blows taken, blows taken my prides been forsaken, yeahDon't you talk to me like that
Don't you talk to me like that
Don't you talk to me like that
Don't you talk to meI yield to you emotionally, yes baby
Raise my shield to you, it's your victory
Swords broken, blows taken, I'm shattered, so shaken
Your words are your weapons, I'm rendered defenseless, yeahDon't you talk to me like that
Don't you talk to me like that
Don't you talk to me like that
Don'tcha, don'tcha, don'tcha, don'tchaDon't you talk to me like that
Don't you talk to me like that

Don't you talk to me like that
