Don't You Know That? Lyrics

I got your love
You need to look no further
Don't you know that
Don't you know thatAfter my love
You'll never need another
Don't you know that
Don't you know thatI don't make no promises I can't keep
And I promised myself that I'd love you forever
How many times must I say that
For you to understand the real thingDon't you know that I love you so
Baby, don't you know
Don't you know that
I love you so, ooh, don't you know
Don't you know that
OhWithout a doubt
You are my sweetest inspiration
Don't you know that
Don't you know thatI'm always down

For anything that you say
Don't you know that
Don't you know thatI love you so, yeah
I really love you, don't you know, yeah
Don't you know that
Alright, don't you know thatI really, really do, yeah
I'm really so in love with you, yeah
Don't you know that
Alright, ooh, yeahI used to doubt every girl that I'd meet
I thought that nobody could knock me off my feet
But you are the one who made my heart's bell ring
And that's why I'm sure that this is the real thing, yeahDon't you know that I love
Don't you know, ooh, ooh
Oh, don't you know that I love
Don't you know, oh, yeah
Don't you know that I love you so
Don't you know that
I bet a million dollars that you knowDon't you know that
Hey, baby, really don't you know that
Ooh, don't you know that
Don't you know I, don't you know I love youDon't you know that
Hey, baby, really don't you know that
I love you, I'm in love
Ooh, ooh, I loveDon't you know that
Hey, baby, really don't you know that
Don't you know that
Don't you know thatDon't you know that
Hey, baby, really don't you know that
Don't you know, don't you know
That I loveDon't you know that
Hey, baby, really don't you know that
Don't you know that
Don't you know thatDon't you know that
Hey, baby, really don't you know that

Luther Ronzoni Vandross (April 20, 1951 - July 1, 2005) was an american soul and rnb singer whose career spanned four decades.

In the 70s, he worked as a backing singer Chic and for David Bowie (on the Young Americans album). He later found success as a solo artist with Superstar and A House Is Not A Home.

In the 80s, Vandross was a vocalist on early Change singles (Searching), whilst continuing his solo career with such releases as "Never Too Much", "Power Of Love/Love Power", "If Only For One Night", "Here And Now".

In the 90s, he was more famous for duets with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey (amongst others), than for his solo work.

It was an ongoing battle with his weight that may have ultimately proved his undoing. He suffered a stroke in 2003, from which he never really recovered, and died in 2005.

During his career, he sold 25 million albums and won eight Grammy awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four times. He won four Grammy awards in 2004, including the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the track "Dance With My Father," co-written with Richard Marx.
