Doughnut Lyrics

I met 'em when
I went away
Perfect things he'd always say
Made me feel like I was worthy
Told me on
The Day we meet
"No more longing for someone,
Ill be there no need to worry"Months past, you'd ask me 'bout
The day oh I come home, oh please come home
Infatuation with him
Leave me this way, but don't take it awayWhy should I spend my time on you?
I know you're gonna make me cry!
I know your kind, make up your mind, cause I can't
Read through the lines, you're making me sigh
Why should I spend my time on you?As time went by
He gave up asking
Now I'm left to start the chase
Its too late he's losing patients

Its not my fault, its not my choice
What went wrong, cause something changed
Who's to blame when nothings differentI'm back, At last
And now he says he's calling me
Wait 'round 'till 3
No call, Typical
I've been through this before
I can't take anymoreWhy should I spend my time on you?
I know you're gonna make me cry!
I know your kind, make up your mind, cause I can't
Read through the lines, you're making me sigh
Why should I spend my time on you?Invited to his home decide to go
Watching me the whole night
Wait until the times right baby
Speaks to me, starts telling what he sees
"you are more 'girlfriend type', call me when I'm turning 23"Asshole, asshole, assholeWhy did I waste my time on you?
All you could do was make me cry!
I know your kind make up your mind
Cause I cant
Read through the lines, your making me sigh
Why did I waste my time on you?
