Down In Doubt and Living Without Lyrics

Did someone let you down?
(Who let you down?)
I said, did someone let you down?
(Who let you down?)I'm not playing, he said, she said
Though I'd really like to know
This whole thing is so been there, done that
I've been through it beforeAnd why am I desensitized to things
I see with my own eyes?
Listen up, it's fading time
I'm not afraid to dieShe would say anything
To make this pain go awayWho let you down?
(Who let you down?)
I said, did someone let you down?
(Who let you down?)I see both feet are on the ground
But your hands are in the air
And you need help, I would help you
Please, don't let me downI'm not playing, he said, she said
But I'd really like to know

This whole thing is so been there, done that
I've been through it beforeAnd you can call me cumbersome
But that is not my name
I'm long away from the rest of them
The best of it'll changeShe would say anything
To make this pain go awayWho let you down?
(Who let you down?)
I said, did someone let you down?
(Who let you down?)I see both feet are on the ground
But your hands are in the air
And you need help, I would help you
Please, don't let me downSometimes I wish I could be ordinary and younger then
But lately that's not happened yet
And when you look at all the circumstance
It's seems it's all just misunderstandI realized this doesn't make much sense
When I've tried to face the consequence
I've picking all the experience
Of never having found one like you sinceWho let you down?
Did someone let you down? WhoaWho let you down?
(Who let you down?)
I said, did someone let you down?
(Who let you down?)I said, did someone let you down?
Did someone let you down?
Who let you down baby, down, baby?

A group plagued by major-label woes and break-ups, that was exactly what was essential for The Fold’s resilience: healing. Evolving from several Chicago-based rock outfits including Warner Brothers signees, Showoff, it seemed The Fold’s previous groups were in a place most musicians only dream of…and then things changed. “I suppose I gave up a lot when I left a major label band to start The Fold,” explains the band’s frontman and founder, Daniel Castady, “but if I did, it was because I knew that those things were passing away.”
