Down In the Seine Lyrics

Catch me, Im falling so fast and I cant seem to find
All the reasons I had when the purpose was mine
Now I stumble so fast rolling into the night, oh yeahKiss me quick before I land and am broken in two
Keep me on the right track, hold my dreams in tact too
I get lost in this place, I get lost, yes its trueIn the waters I sink and in the waters I drink
Until I rise to the top which in truth is not
The same as below, you gonna put down and show
To make you feel you're alright, to make you feel theres no fightHelp me, Im sinking so fast into waters unplanned
That I once held onto but have got out of hand
Now the things that I loved are the things I cant understand, yeah, yeahSqueeze me slow before I come to the part of the ground
Its a million miles up, it's a million miles down
I get lost in between and I wait to be foundIn the waters I sink and in the waters I drink
Until I rise to the top which in truth is not
The same as below, you gonna put down and show
To make you feel you're alright, to make you feel theres no fightCatch me, Im falling so fast
Hmm, catch me, Im falling so fast
Catch me, Im falling so fast

Paul Weller (born 25 May 1958) is an English singer / songwriter, leader of two successful bands: The Jam and The Style Council. In England, he is recognised as something of a national institution yet, because much of his songwriting is rooted in English culture, he has remained essentially a national rather than an international star. Weller's eleventh studio album, Sonik Kicks, was released on 19 March 2012. The Green Songfacts reports that it was recorded in Weller’s own Black Barn Studios in Ripley, Surrey, with co-producer Simon Dine and engineer Charles Rees.
