Down and Dirty Lyrics

The wind was howling outside my door
The rain was pouring, can't take no more
Came out of nowhere, out of the night
So cold and nasty, it was so rightIt had to be so easy
Been down that road before, yeah
Down and dirty, baby, she's down and dirty
ListenMy heart was pounding, head in a spin
Spellbound and wicked for in a sin
I had no warning about her kind
It did not matter, babe, she did not mindHow could it be so easy
I did not see her lies
Down and dirty, baby, she's down and dirtyShe'll take your money, down and dirty
She'll steal your heart away
She'll show no mercy, down and dirty
Too bad I had to stay
Oh no no, noHow could it be so easy
I did not see her lies
Down and dirty, baby, she's down and dirty, yeahShe'll take your money, down and dirty

She'll steal your heart, oh yeah
She'll show no mercy, baby (Down and dirty)
Too bad I had to stayShe'll take your money, down and dirty
She'll steal your heart away, yeah
She'll show no mercy, baby (Down and dirty)
Too bad I had to stay
YeahDown and dirty, yeah
Got to be so blind
Ooh, hey yeah

Enjoy the lyrics !!!
(Not to be confused with Bad Company UK, the 1990s/2000s drum-and-bass DJ team. If you are here because of them, please fix your artist tags.)

Bad Company was a 1970s British blues-rock group fronted by Paul "The Voice" Rodgers. Their name came from a ‘70s Western movie and they were formed by former members of Mott the Hoople, Free, and King Crimson. Members were Paul Rodgers (singer/pianist), Mick Ralphs (guitarist), Boz Burrell (bassist), and Simon Kirke (drummer).

Their hits include “Shooting Star,” “Bad Company,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy,” "Ready for Love," and “Can’t Get Enough,” most of which are off of the albums Straight Shooter and Bad Company.

In the mid 80`s Rodgers & Burrell left the band. New singer Brian Howe, who had worked with Ted Nugent earlier, made 4 albums with the band. Year 1990`s LP Holy water contained big hit "If you needed somebody". Their style was then more like melodic rock.

In mid 1990`s Howe left the band and solo artist Robert Hart replaced him. Also other guitarist Dave Colwell & basist Rick Wills joined to group. In 2000`s Paul Rodgers came back to make the new album with old band members Kirke, Ralphs & other guys. They got a hit with the song "Joe Fabulous" what was number 1 on Classic Rock Radio. After that recording all original members left the band and new line-up members came to band. Robert Hart became again the band´s singer.
