Downhill Sunday Lyrics

(Julia Fordham)Why can't I get it right?
Why can't I hold it together?
Why have I been up all night?
Why can't I settle down forever?24/7 round and round I go
Sliding from heaven
To the flames belowMonday I'm at square one
Tuesday what have I done
Wednesday I'm alright Jack
Thursday I want you back
Friday I'm out with my friends
Saturday I'm on the up againThen it's downhill Sunday
Downhill SundayFlap flip flopping about
In the luke warm murky water
Sulky fat fish pouty pout
Out of synch and out of order52 weekends 52 to go
Sliding from heaven
To the flames belowMonday I'm at square one
Tuesday what have I done

Wednesday I'm alright Jack
Thursday I want you back
Friday I'm out with my friends
Saturday I'm on the up againThen it's downhill Sunday
Downhill SundayBuckle up here comes another big 180
Racing through every degreeCHORUS
