Dozen Wicked Words Lyrics

Try not to need her, I'm not a believer
A look in your eye makes me satisfied
Stare at this head, lies asleep on my shoulder
Opens her eyes as I start to cryA larger part, the need to be burnt
Justify this excellent girl
One dozen wicked words to find
I know we'll start again sometimesPeace with my stomach, the sky is inside her
Open the window to let her breathe
Patch up the scars with some cardboard and karma
Trust this is far beyond what I needTurn around to eat for I will
Blind myself to joyfully kill
One dozen wicked words to find
I know we'll start again sometimesI'm starting to fall
This is starting to break me downTurn around to eat for I will
Blind myself to joyfully thrill
These dozen wicked words to find
I know we'll start againA larger part, the need to be burnt
Justify this excellent girl

One dozen wicked words to find
I know we'll start again sometime
One dozen wicked words to find
I know we'll start again sometime

Longpigs were one of the more memorable bands who rose to fame on the fringe of Britpop in the 1990s, comprising Crispin Hunt (vocals), Richard Hawley (guitar), Simon Stafford (bass) and former Cabaret Voltaire member Dee Boyle (drums). The band name refers to the litteral translation of the word for 'human' or 'person' from cannibal tribal language. The group initially signed with Elektra Records in 1993. However, just before they released their first single, two tragedies struck the band.
