Drama Lyrics

Yo yo waddup I know it's you
I had to run out and pick up a few things
If you get to the crib before I get back
You know what to do, the crib is yours
Oh yea I got a surprise for you, it's gonna be sweet
I gotta run, peace, I'm out, I love you
Well here I go in the night got the face rockin' on the sound
Got my phone in my hand
My baby hit me two times
I gotta hit her back, she says she's flyin' in tonight
See my baby's been gone for so long
She's back in town it's time to get it on
She told me she would meet me at my spot about eight
That gives me two whole hours to get my shit straight
I hit my place around six
It's almost time to see her, almost time to get my fix
I just can't wait to see my baby's face
She's not like all these others on the paper chase

She's the kinda girl that you wanna stay true to
There's nothin' that this girl wouldn't do for you, no
I think I hear her in my driveway
Open up the door and this is what she had to say
"I found someone to do what you used to
Boy, you thought you were deceivin' me with your infidelity
I found someone who really deserves me, and he's all I need"
I'm makin' my moves, I found someone new
And got no more love for you
How could you go and do this to me baby?
Since you hit town your had me runnin' around actin' crazy
And had I known you treat me this way
We had to swing this drama so another day, baby
This was your night the dream was on beepers on
My shit was tight you blew it baby now it's blown
And after all I done for you you messed around and blew the best thing
That ever happened to you baby
Now don't go and put this all on me
Since I left town you've been tryin' to run down
On every girl you see
I can't believe you do this to me
I heard about your friend with the red dress
Now why you wanna go and play a game you can't win
You didn't know she was my best friend
And now we're all up in your pockets for your Benjamins
I found someone to do what you used to
Boy you thought you were deceivin' me with your infidelity
I found someone who really deserves me and he's all I need
I'm makin' my moves, I found someone new
And got no more love for you
I found someone to do what you used to
Boy you thought you were deceivin' me with your infidelity
I found someone who really deserves me and he's all I need
I'm makin' my moves, I found someone new
And got no more love for you
I'm makin' my moves, I found someone new
And got no more love for you
Don't leave me baby, said I love you baby
Said I need you baby, stay right here with me baby

Blackstreet was an American R&B group founded in 1994 by Teddy Riley, a New Jack Swing pioneer known for his work as a member of Guy. The band members were: Teddy Riley, Chauncey Hannibal, Eric Williams, and Terrell Philips (and formerly Joe Stonestreet, Levi Little, David Hollister, and Mark Middleton). Their debut album, Blackstreet, was a moderate success due to the singles "Booti Call" and "Before I Let You Go", both Top 40 hits ("Before" hit the Top 10). The follow-up, 1996's Another Level was a breakthrough success due to the top single "No Diggity" (with Dr. Dre), which was a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1996, and won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, along with the Top 40 hit "Don't Leave Me". Another Level eventually went four times platinum in the United States and peaked at #3 on the Billboard chart. "No Diggity" is ranked at #91 on Rolling Stone and MTV: 100 Greatest Pop Songs, while Blackstreet comes in at #214 of the Top 500 Pop Artists of the Past 25 Years.

Blackstreet has also collaborated with Jay-Z on his single "The City is Mine". With the help of the Janet Jackson single "Girlfriend", Blackstreet finally had a top ten album with Finally. But personnel shifts wracked the group and contributed to the relative failure of Finally in 1999, and Blackstreet soon broke up. After rumors of legal action and a preemptive countersuit, the group re-banded and released Level II in 2003.

In 2006 They are part of New Jack Reunion Tour Line up.
