The group Defenders of the Faith is comprised of two notable canadian hip hop foundation-builders, Checkmate and Concise. Hailing from the West Coast, of Canada the two have paved their own paths by putting in over a decade of hard dedication and strong work ethic. Their debut album as a group, African Kings, was released on November 11th, 2008.
