Drastic Lyrics

So what once seemed so drastic is now common place
And they're driving machines down the lines on our face
There's no shame, there's no mercy, not even a trace
We thought bombs and our pills, we think we've made things safeBut maybe we've been better off with our heads in the sand
You could leave us to drown here according to plan
But if this ship's going down, you'll find me with the bandCause they've pushed around to the edge, around brink
And they've pushed around to the edge
They've pushed around to the edge, around brink
And they've pushed us a, pushed us a, pushed us around to the edgeThey're claiming the answer is kill or be killed
But we're dying of cancer and paying our bills
We just drown is this quagmire? of what we've been told
While they're cashing the checks on faith that we've soldBut maybe we've been better off with our heads in the sand
And they leave us to drown here according to plan
But if this ship's going down, you'll find me with the bandCause they've pushed around to the edge, around brink
And they've pushed around to the edge
And they've got no alegence to pledge, around brink
And they've pushed us around to the edge
They've pushed around to the edge, around brink

And they've pushed around to the edge
They've left us out here on the edge, around brink
And they've pushed us a, pushed us a, pushed us around to the edge
