Dreaming About You Lyrics

You went from "nice to meet you"
To kissin' me on the couch
Dressin' me up in your jacket
A Parliament in your mouthThen you said you gotta go home with me girl
As you saw the sun startin' to rise
I remember every way that it felt
Because everytime I close my eyesI'm dreamin' about you
I'm still lovin' you in my mind
I'm dreamin' about you
It keeps happening all the time
Every time I go to sleep
Even if it's next to me
I'm dreamin' about you
I just wanna leave us behind
I guess I'm stayin' up tonightI heard you flew to New York
I always thought that you'd call
I saw you walkin' down West Fourth
Isn't it nice in the fall?Sometimes I still play that song in my car

I still have the shirt you left on the floor
All these things that made me like who you are
I don't think about them anymoreBut I'm dreamin' about you
I'm still lovin' you in my mind
I'm dreamin' about you
It keeps happening all the time
Every time I go to sleep
Even if it's next to me
I'm dreamin' about you
I just wanna leave us behind
I guess I'm stayin' up tonightYou went from "nice to meet you"
To kissin' me on the couchI'm dreamin' about you
I'm still lovin' you in my mind
I'm dreamin' about you
It keeps happening all the time
Every time I go to sleep
Even if it's next to me
I'm dreamin' about you
I just wanna leave us behind
I guess I'm stayin' up tonightI'm still dreamin', dreamin' about you
I'm still dreamin', dreamin' about you
