Dreams Lyrics

My dreams can be such funny things
They also can be sad
The dream I had the other night
Made me feel so badI saw my baby with a guy
Who's face I couldn't see
And when he turned around
It wasn't meDreams can be the answer
To many off people's prayer
But to me the other night
They only brought despairIf I could only see
His face again
I might have known
Where my baby could have beenIf dreams come true
As they sometimes do
Then I'll be afraid to dream again
In case she's with another and he is my friendSo I hoped when I'd awake
Out of my dream I'd find
Nobody had taken her

Then I'd have peace of myBut I dreamed last night
I was at a football game
So now I suppose that
Every thing's the sameYes, I dreamed last night
I was at a football game
So now I suppose that
Evey thing's the same
