Drive Like I Never Been Hurt Lyrics

You told everybody that I couldn't drive
and you didn't even want me around.
and you knocked my love and you know that's a lie
'cause I'm a good man when the flag goes down.I'm gonna drive like I never been hurt.
Die on the road like you never lied.
I'll find my way like Ive never been lost
and you never laughed and I never cried.I'll say good-bye to all my friends,
that won't take too very long.
Theyll be real big men someday,
never gonna miss me when I'm goneI'm a-gonna drive like I never been hurt.
Be long gone like you never lied.
I'll find my way like Ive never been lost
and you never laughed and I never cried.Well I'm in the road, I'm in the right,
I've got a mind to drive all night.
When I get there they'll know my name.
My heads blown loose all over again
Fuels gettin' hot, sun's getting high,
Salt is burnin' in my eyeMy brains are good, my tires're fair,

if my drag chute fails Baby, I don't care'cause I'm gonna drive like I never been hurt.
Be long gone like you never lied.
I'll find my way like I never been lost
and you never laughed and I never cried yeahI'm gonna drive like I never been hurt.
Die on the road like you never lied.
'cause I'll find my way like I never been lost
and you never laughed and I never cried.(voice over fade-out) Oh my car is good. I can prove it. Look at it. You know she told me that I couldnt drive and my car wasnt no good but I had the 42 crank, had the 24 stud-head, I had the Lincoln gears. I had the 49 inch rearend. I had the Thompsons in the back
