Dubois Lyrics

Dubois died today
His family was pleased
'Cause he'd always complained
He couldn't get sleep
So what was it for
Well you don't mind me not
Saying
What i do think of
You bury him smiling
Telling us all what a loss
And at what a cost
His friends all came to pay
Their homage to greed
They'd sit here all day
Like vultures they'd feed
Please
What was it for
Well you don't mind me not

Saying
What i do think of
You bury him smiling
Telling us all what a loss
And at what a cost
Dubois died today
Left us disegree
They found him they say
At the bottom of the sea
So what was this for
Please
So what was it for

It is only half a decade ago that Romain Descamps (a Frenchman, bass) met Matthew Irons (an Englishman, guitar/vocals) in their Jazz school in Brussels. Romain, who had already seen the possible match, invited Matthew to jam with his drummer friend Egil “Ziggy” Franzen (a Swede, drums/vocals). Since then, the band have played all over the continent and at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, such as Reading and Bennicassim.
