Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
four hundred of my closest friends forgotten names that I pretend to know it hasn been that long so how youe been you look the same remember when the doughboys played at gilman and they broke up on your lawn I wish it could always be like this is something Ie been missing it not too late to change what youe become the last time I saw everyone we buried our friend and his gun I think he be happy here right now don be jaded I don want to spend another long and lonely weekend by the phone without anyone to call Ie had a lot of time to think and I so tired of thinking I know why he put that bullet in his skull
I forgot how good it feels to be part of a spinning wheel supported and supported on and on forget the judgement and the games forget the shit talk and the shame you will only be young for so long I wish it could always be like this something Ie been missing it not too late to change what youe become the last time I saw everyone we buried our friend and his gun I think he be happy here right now don be jaded I don want to spend another long and lonely weekend by the phone without anyone to call Ie had a lot of time to think and I so tired of thinking I know why he put that bullet in his skull because life can be so dull

Samiam is a band from El Sobrante, CA formed in 1988 after the breakup of the Gilman club mainstay Isocracy. With a sound akin to Jawbreaker, Hot Water Music, As Friends Rust, and Fuel, Samiam achieved some mainstream success in the mid-1990's. Singles, including "Capsized" from their sole major-label release "Clumsy," on Atlantic and "She Found You" from their follow-up "You Are Freaking Me Out," found some airplay on modern/alternative rock radio and MTV. They released records through New Red Archives, Atlantic and Hopeless Records in the US and Burning Heart Records in Europe.
