Dust My Broom Lyrics

I'm gonna get up in the mornin'
I believe I'll dust my broom
Said, I'm gonna get up in the mornin'
I believe I'll dust my broom
I quit the best man I was lovin'
Now my friends can have my roomI don't want no man
Wants every downtown woman he meets
No, I don't want no man
Wants every downtown woman he meets
Oh, there are some no good doers
They shouldn't be allowed on the streetsI'm gon' write me letter
Telephone every town I know
Here's what I'm gonna do, I'm gon' write me letter
Telephone in every town I know
You see my age is moving on
And my patience is running lowI believe, I believe my time ain't long
I believe, I believe my time ain't long
I quit the best man I was lovin'

And I broke up my happy homeI'm gonna get up in the morning
I believe I'll dust my broom
I'm gonna get up in the morning
I believe I'll dust my broom
I quit the best man I was lovin'
Now my friends can have my roomI believe, I believe my time ain't long
I believe
