DwarfStar Lyrics

I wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the Dwarfstar
I wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the DwarfstarThe first time I met him
He said he was a Dwarfstar
'Cause he was small
And he was famousI wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the DwarfstarThe second time I met him
He said I could never be a Dwarfstar
Because I was too tall
And I wasn't famousI wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the DwarfstarThe third, the second time I mean
That I went to see him
He was not in a very good mood
He said, "Stop comin' around here"I wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the Dwarfstar
I wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the DwarfstarThe last time
That I went to see him
He had passed awayI wanna tell ya
I wanna tell ya
I wanna tell ya
I wanna tell yaI wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the Dwarfstar
I wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the Dwarfstar

I wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the Dwarfstar
I wanna tell ya 'bout my friend the DwarfstarThe end

Rasputina is a "cello rock" ensemble composed of singer/cellist Melora Creager, and various, frequently changing band members. The current lineup includes Creager (cello), Daniel Dejesus (cello), and Dawn Miceli (drums). Founded by Creager in 1992, they have long held true to their mission of enlightening the common man as to the power and versatility of the mighty cello. Historically influenced, and constantly costumed, Rasputina keeps a small legion of incredibly passionate admirers enthralled with their earnest musicianship.
