Dying Lyrics

I know myself, I know I think
I'm so sick of people and I don't know why
See, I just don't have patience for them
And I really think I can make it on my own liesYou hide words to keep from hurting me
And I would rather know the truth than be happyWhile you're smiling we're all dying
With every day that we go you're just growing old
While you're dying we're all fighting
Every day that we goI know better than to get caught up in
Words of boredom of no importance to meWhy do these people keep talking?
When all I wanna do is hear myselfLies, you hide words to keep from hurting me
And I would rather know the truth than be happyWhile you're smiling we're all dying
With every day that we go you're just growing old
While you're dying we're all fighting
Every day that we goThe more I'm awake the more I wanna sleep
What a shame t-to want it that way
But what a shame to be in this
And your life's such a bore
And me, I feel so fucking aliveLies, every breath uttered a self-reassurance

And I wouldn't trust me much if I were you
But you chooseWhile you're smiling we're all dying
With every day that we go you're just growing old
While you're dying we're all fighting
Every day that we go, yeah, just go away, go

Osker was a Los Angeles melodic punk rock band who formed in 1998 and split in February 2002, ultimately due to the departure of their drummer. The line up originally consisted of Devon Williams on vocals and guitar and Dave Benitez on bass. They never had a full time drummer, however Phil Drazik was the longest standing.
Osker broke away from the typical Southern California punk band with the release of their second CD "Idle Will Kill".
