Ear Damage - Munma

Born in Beirut in 1978, Jawad Nawfal undertook audiovisual and film studies at IESAV (Institute for Scenic, Audiovisual and Film Studies) in Beirut and chose to specialize in sound design. In 2001, Jawad formed Altered Ear, a laboratory of sound research and composition, based on the need to explore and link several means of computer assisted musical writing. Altered Ear would like to be an encounter platform of multimedia disciplines, and is actually growing interested in the meeting of sound and image through the mediation of computer science.
