Easy Money Lyrics

Lookin' for a way to earn some easy cash
So I can lay back and watch it roll in
I wanna flash my roll
I want to see that good old eagle grinLonely man needs a high rollin' woman
That's what I had for sure
But she took a ride, left me dissatisfied
Ain't gonna say no moreEasy money
Can't get it out of my mind
Easy money
Ain't it hard to findCruisin' along on a downtown avenue
I'm lonely but the night is young
I got money to burn, I had to work to earn
It'll soon be goneI found the right club, struttin' in, paid the man a dollar
Eased myself into a place at the bar
I drank a double shot, put me in the slot
I'm feeling good so farEasy money
Can't get it out of my mind
Easy money

Ain't it hard to findLonely man needs a high rollin' woman
That's what I had for sure
But she took a ride, left me dissatisfied
Ain't gonna say no moreI've been lookin' for a way to earn some easy cash
So I can lay back and watch it roll in
I wanna flash my roll
I want to see that good old eagle grinEasy money
Can't get it out of my mind
Easy money
Ain't it hard to find

In the late 1960s, Roger Earl and Lonesome Dave Peverett first toured America as members of the seminal British band Savoy Brown . Together with guitarist Kim Simmonds, Savoy Brown was on the cutting edge of the emerging British blues-rock scene, and they influenced countless musicians on both sides of the Atlantic. In 1971, wanting to give a more rock 'n roll flavour to the blues-boogie music they were playing with Savoy, Dave and Roger enlisted lead/slide guitarist Rod Price and bassist Tony Stevens, formed a new band, Foghat.
