Eden Lyrics

All I want is the world
And everything for me
You can rattle off your talk
All that matters is what I seeIf you break me down
Selfish desire is all you'll blame
'Cause desperate time calls for desperate measures
And I am not ashamedOh, it took me a long time
To come to this
now I have chosen that path
I am, I am meAll my dreams are so closed
If I open them to you
You can count them all as lies
You can believe me or you can believe the truthIf you break me down
Selfish desire is all you'll blame
'Cause desperate time calls for desperate measures
And I am not ashamedOh, it took me a long time
To come to this
Now I have chosen that path

I am, I am meBut I could let you in, put your fears on the shelf
There's only room 'cause it helps myself
Oh, I could let you in but it's to no avail
I only listen 'cause it helps myselfOh, it took me a long time
To come to this
Now I have chosen that path
I am, I am meI took a cane from a blind man
Well, I tasted the fruit in the Garden of Eden
When I walk out of here, I know I'll stand clear
But the taste in my mouth still remains, still remainsOh, it took me a long time
To come to this
Oh, it took me a long time
I am, well, I am only for meOh, it took me a long time
To come to this
Oh, it took me a long time
I am, well, I am only for meOh, it took me a long time
To come to this
Oh, it took me a long time
