El Jalisciense Lyrics

Con gusto vengo a cantarles
Este muy alegre son
Pa quitarles la tristeza
Y alegrar el corazon
Yo no quiero presumir solo
Quiero demostrar que soy puro
Jaliciense amigo a carta caval
Dicen que somos malditos
Eso es nomas por hablar
Somos hombres que complimos
No sabemos dejar
El que nacido en ameca
Orgullozo de ello esta
Como el que nacio en tequila
Paladeando su mezcal

Caballos san miguel
Mariachi tecalitlan
Y para mujeres bonitas
En mi lindo buen titan
Seguro que si chente
Que bonitos son los altos
Bonito es tepatitlan
Muy famosos son sus charros
Y la virgen de san juan
Es muy bonito jalisco por
El bruyo y autlan
Cuna de grandes artistas mi
Linda ciudad guzman
En el lago de chapala
Ahi es donde la pase hasta que llego
La hembra de quien yo me enamore
Ya me voy para la barca
Pa desviarme a totonilco
Y de la vida gozar
Hay que bonito es jalisco hay, hay, hay

Vicente Fernández Gomez (born February 17, 1940), simply known as Vicente Fernández, is a Mexican folk singer and actor. Known as el "El idolo de Mexico" (the idol of Mexico) and "el rey" (the king) throughout the Latin world, Vicente Fernandez, who started his career singing for tips on the street, has become a Mexican cultural icon, recording more than 50 albums and contributing to 40 movies. He is the father of singer Alejandro Fernández. Although less well known to English-speaking audiences, he has consistently filled stadiums and venues throughout his 35-plus years of performing. His repertoire is pure ranchera, a style described by Daniel Chang of the Miami Herald as representing "the Mexico of old--a way of life romanticized by rural ranches, revolution, and philandering caballeros. He has sold over 50 million copies worldwide.
