M.E.K, real name Michael Knowles, was born in York, England on 30th March 1990. He moved to Boston, England at the age of 2 with his mother and has lived there since. He has had a passion for dance music since the age of 10 when he discovered hard house. He has since expanded his musical taste upon discovering new genres. At the early age of 12 he started learning to make his own music and practicing DJ skills. Now in the Royal Air Force, M.E.
