Emancipation Lyrics

Inwards into the organic darkness
Behind the curtains of the exhaustionBring us light Prometheus!
Listen by horizon-frames
Infernal prince, diabolic legions (step forth)
Life shall begin with a bangTragic songs of heaven
Lust-filled songs of hell
Unwrap the thoughts clean
From the innards of Christ
Rise up! Thou proud serpent, Lord of Dust and carnal desire
Behold me, to your hands I give you my imprisoned spirit
Let your words make me free, so that I can understand powerUnto the time when the shards of heaven
Mixes with the splinters of hell
The feeble tremble before the mighty
Divine authority scattered into the flames of true willInto the worms passages of the black earth of Belial
Unto the raging powers, fire and magic of Satan
Into the boiling sea that leads to the tentacles of Leviathan
To the Palace of Illumination
The world guarded by the flame of LuciferRise up! Thou proud serpent, Lord of Dust and carnal desire

Behold me, to your hands I give you my imprisoned spirit
Let your words make me free, so that I can understand power
Unto the time when the powers of hell
Commands the powers of heaven
The strong shall be one above the millions
Flame! Light up the way!

BIOGRAPHY In June 1993, three men came together, earlier unknown to each other. They saw the idea of promoting their views and affection of the questions of life and death through the use of music and symbolism. The group called itself Trident, after the symbol the Devil (and Poseidon) was seen pointing with, as a symbol the world made him. Autumn reduced the group-members from three to two. The group soon changed name to Nåstrond, the word became a combination between the ancient and the modern writing, yesterday and now, coming together in unity; Nastrond.
