With an acoustic-folk sound equal parts Bob Dylan and Elliott Smith, Jacob Waters has been playing his songs throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 2005. After the release of his self-produced debut album Origins (2006), Jacob was awarded a slot in the Beta Hi-Fi Festival Emerging Artists Showcase at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia. Since then, Jacob has been continuing to write, perform, and record, finishing his sophomore release "Blue-Eyed Son" in April 2008.

Jacob currently attends Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania.
