Empty the Clip, the King Has Been Slain, Long Live Lyrics

I've been staying up all night to kill the day
You're the one to blame
It drives me insaneIf you're seeking closure then I can't help you babe
Surprised, but I may say
Today is the dayI'll be knocking on the door
Keeping everything alright
Until the morning light
Is creeping inIf you want to have it
You want it
You got exactly what you asked for
I'm waiting
You have me right here where you want meYou want it
You got exactly what you asked for
I'm waiting
You have me right here where you want meCounting seconds, saving minutes, lapsing hours
She is so sour
I taste her disdainIf you would hold me
A joke can let you down

The crowds would scream along
"The king has been slain!"I'll be knocking on the door
Keeping everything alright
Until the morning light
Is creeping inIf you have to have it
You want it
You got exactly what you asked for
I'm waiting
You have me right here where you want meYou want it
You got exactly what you asked for
I'm waiting
You have me right here where you want meI'll just wait here 'till I get my own way
Settle down and take a rideIf we're gonna empty the
Clip of this gunI hope you intend on having good aim!I'll be knocking on the door
Keeping everything alright
Until the morning light
Just creeping inBut if you have to have it
You want it
You got exactly what you asked forI'm waiting
You have me right here where you want me
You want it
You got exactly what you asked forI'm waiting
You have me right here where you want me.

The Fall of Troy were a three-piece progressive band from Mukilteo, Washington, United States. Members consisted of Thomas Erak who supplied lead vocals and guitar (now of Just Like Vinyl and Chiodos), Andrew Forsman on drums, and Frank Ene of bass, backup vocals (now of Chineke). The Fall of Troy formed in 2002. Popularity grew from the large sound they produced out of only three members. Thomas took skill in playing technical guitar riffs over his vocals, which consisted of harsh shrill screams and soothing vocal melodies.
