Eternal Light Lyrics

Fear begin to turn around I guess if everyone listens In your heart someone's there I'm sixty years old There's no one left to fight. With nothing left to say. When you ? away Seems the message is Why does it really prove Gotta serve the sun Now you don't know Then I don't suppose That you chose to walk a straight road When to listen or just let it go Then you'll never know And I don't suppose Then you'll never know That you chose to walk a straight road Why does it really prove When you ? away Seems the message is Gotta serve the sun

Teenage Fanclub are an indie rock band from Bellshill, Scotland near Glasgow, formed in 1989, and were formerly known as The Boy Hairdressers. They have two generally known humorous nicknames "The Fannies" and "The Bellshill Beach Boys"

Teenage Fanclub are revered for their devotion to chiming, Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Songwriting duties are shared between the three permanent members of the band, Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley, and Gerard Love.

In 2006, the band held two special concerts in London and Glasgow, playing their 1991 masterpiece Bandwagonesque in its entirety.

There have been a succession of drummers, including:

- Francis MacDonald (a prime-mover in the C86 scene, later of the BMX Bandits), the drummer in the original lineup, and in a later period
- Brendan O’Hare (later of Telstar Ponies, Thrapple , Mogwai and Macrocosmica)

and

- Paul Quinn (later of The Primary 5), who was later replaced by the returning Francis MacDonald.

Keyboardist Finlay MacDonald (no relation to Francis MacDonald) has also been a member.
