Eternal Wait Lyrics

Over the forgotten sea
Voice of angel is calling for me
Somewhere where the mountains collide
That's where I'll find my new lifeI have carried this burden so long for you
That nothing but sorrow I feel
I have let myself believe
That nothing would hurt deeper than truthNever has the wind blown like thousand years ago
Everything that I've known has left me on my own
Never have I felt the rain fall down like the burning flames
All I see is the face of eternal waitI hear your silent cry lost in the rainy night
No reason to live for, one reason to die for
I hear your silent cry lost in the rainy night
No reason to live for, one reason to die forI am the one who has fallen into the path of shadows
I am the one who has drowned into the river of tearsOver the forgotten sea
Voice of angel is calling for me
Somewhere where mountains collide
That's where I'll find my new lifeI have carried this burden so long for you
That nothing but sorrow I feel

I have let myself believe
That nothing would hurt deeper than truthNever has the wind blown like thousand years ago
Everything that I've known has left me on my own
Never have I felt the rain fall down like the burning flames
All I see is the face of eternal wait

Ensiferum (Latin ēnsiferum (neuter adjective) meaning "sword bearer") is a folk metal band from Helsinki, Finland. In 1995 Markus Toivonen played guitar with some friends in a band called ”Dark Reflections”, which played mainly covers of certain heavy metal bands including Megadeth, Pantera and many others. Later on, Markus felt that the band in which he was playing offered him very little inspiration and wanted to play something different. Markus was hugely inspired by folk music and also found himself fascinated with melodic death metal bands like Amorphis and Dark Tranquillity.
