Eulalie Lyrics

Eulalie just loves attention
She's a child in that respect
She's a girl whose pretty looks
Have been a chain around her neck'Cause with all the boys who want her
Why she'll never notice me
And I could really love you, EulalieEulalie was daddy's daughter
She's her daddy's daughter still
And they live in careless comfort
Somewhere high upon the hillBut the boys who court her ain't no count
Oh, I wish she could see
'Cause I could really love you, EulalieEulalie, if you only knew me
You could see right through me
You'd see I'm sincere
Eulalie, I feel like I know youI wish I could show you
Hey look over here
Eulalie, Eulalie, EulalieI could watch her from a distance
And I'd know just how she feels
I could love her in my mind

Till I believed that it was realAnd I know that all she's missing
Is a steady boy like me
'Cause I could really love you, EulalieEulalie, if you only knew me
You could see right through me
You'd see I'm sincere
Eulalie, I feel like I know youI wish I could show you
Hey, look over here
Eulalie, Eulalie, Eulalie
