Eulogy Lyrics

Today all the sources would agree that the day of their death was a cold dark day Scuttled ships have blocked the sea and the pallid light of morning melts into an ashy gray sayonara everyone Chorus: And goodbye to everything they are tired write the eulogy And I saw them as they passed far into the deep blue sea No one understood a word they said Their names scribbled on a parchment piece it was like a millstone cast hailed them all as kings up upon a pedestal would sink like any ship listing fast from ruptured hull The murky sea is black dismal and so deep millstones rocket through the dark a cemetery for the humble into its icy keep no ones here to make you stumble A resting place for broken ships then I am mostly lies If Jesus Christ is true if Jesus Christ is Life if Jesus Christ is Love then I have failed to try then please just let me die let...this...die...

Five Iron Frenzy (also known as Five Iron or FIF) is a Christian ska band formed in Denver, Colorado in 1995 and disbanded in 2003. The band announced they were recording new material on November 22, 2011. Five Iron Frenzy started as a local side-project of Reese, Keith, Micah, and Scott's band Exhumator. The band members never took themselves too seriously. Even the name started out as an inside joke.
