Even When You Sleep Lyrics

Soothe you with my caress
Relax, baby, lay your head down on my chest
I'm not a doctor, but
I'll cure all your troublesEven when you sleep
You'll know that I am there
To hug and keep you warm
And soothe you while you're dreamingA twinkle in your mind
Shimmering thoughts of joy
Sweet dreams, my love
Until you're awake againAnything to please my man
I like to do the best I can do
My all, I'll give to you
'Cause you are my love and you are my life
What my dreams are made of (Whoa, whoa, oh)
So dream of this love I'm giving to you
Forget all your troubles (Whoa, whoa, whoa)Even when you sleep
You'll know that I am there
To hug and keep you warm

And soothe you while you're dreamingA twinkle in your mind
Shimmering thoughts of joy
Sweet dreams, my love
Will always be yours when you sleepEven when you sleep
Oh...baby, I will be there
To hug and keep you warm
And soothe you while you're dreamingA twinkle (Twinkle) in your mind (Your mind)
Shimmering thoughts of joy (Oh)
Sweet dreams, my love
Will always be yours when you sleepMy dream of love is true and it's all for youDream all your troubles wayEven when you sleep
You'll know that I am there
To hug and keep you warm
And soothe you while you're dreamingA twinkle in your mind
Shimmering thoughts of joy
Sweet dreams, my love
Dream all your troubles way (Whoa, whoa, whoa)Even when you sleep
Even in your sleep, baby
To hug and keep you warm
Wanna hug you, and keep you warmA twinkle in your mind (Twinkle in your mind)
Shimmering thoughts of joy (Baby, lover, sweetheart)
Dream all your troubles way (Whoa, whoa, whoa)Even when you sleep
I wanna hold you, kiss you, love you
To hug and keep you warm
Wanna be there right there with you, babyA twinkle in your mind (Twinkle in your mind)
Shimmering thoughts of joy

The S.O.S. Band is an American funk / soul musical ensemble, founded in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in 1977. The "SOS" acronym stands not for "Save Our Souls", but for "Sounds of Success". The band, fronted by Mary Davis, was initially famous for the post-disco hit "Take Your Time (Do It Right)" in 1979. In 1982, they joined forces with then-new production team Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, who went on to craft a string of R&B hits for the group, including "Just Be Good to Me", "Tell Me If You Still Care", "Feeling", and "Borrowed Love".
