Every Mother's Son Lyrics

Once again I'm north-ward bound
On the edge of sea and sky
Tomorrow is my friend, my one and only friend
We travel on together searching for the endI'm a traveling soul
And every mother's son
Although I'm getting tired
I've got to travel onCan you please help, my God?
Can you please help, my God?
Can you please help, my God?
Think it's only fairOnce again I'm north-ward bound
On the edge of sea and sky
Together we will go and see what waits for us
The back door to the universe that opens doorsI'm a traveling soul
And every mother's son
Although I'm getting tired
I've got to travel onCan you please help, my God?
Can you please help, my God?
Can you please help, my God?

I think it's only fairOnce again I'm north-ward bound
On the edge of sea and sky
Together we will go and see what waits for us
The back door to the universe that opens doorsAnd I'm a traveling soul
And every mother's son
Although I'm getting tired
I've got to travel onWell I'm a traveling soul
And every mother's son
And I'm getting tired
I'm getting tired got to travel onCan you please help, my God?
Can you please help, my God?
Can you please help, my God?
I think it's only fair

Traffic were an English rock band. Traffic started out with Steve Winwood, Dave Mason, Jim Capaldi, and Chris Wood after Winwood left The Spencer Davis Group. From their beginning, in 1967, they were quite popular in their native England, though success elsewhere was slower in coming. Their first three albums combined psychedelic rock and soul with elements of British folk music, giving them a unique, groundbreaking sound. Their most popular single was Dear Mr. Fantasy, from the album of the same name.
