Every Reason To Lyrics

I thought about the end today
The final chapter, the last take
Ending what is here and what is now
And all there is to comeNo hope for tomorrow, for today
(Through all this talk, on how numb)
There's one just out of reach
(And you bet it shows, you bet it shows)So now I take my heart in hand
(Shake downs like)
Beach out the shades of detriment
(Like these)
Branded with names that I resent
Worship on your knees again
(Get old)So now I take my heart in hand
Bleach out the shades of detriment
Branded with names that I resent
Wearing my promise to the endEnding what is here and what is now
And all there is to come
No hope for tomorrow, for today

(Through all this talk, on how numb)
There's one just out of reach
(And you bet it shows, you bet it shows)All this talk, on how numb
And you bet it shows, you bet it shows
Shake downs like these, are getting old
And you bet it shows, you bet it showsIn your eyes, I can see
Tomorrow out of reach
In your eyes, I can see
(This is detachement)
Tomorrow beyond me

From Autumn To Ashes(or FATA) was a band from Long Island, New York, USA. The band mixed melody with hardcore styles, and their earlier albums featured a unique dual vocal style between frontman Benjamin Perri and drummer Francis Mark. This style was very innovative at the time and earned the band widespread praise. Following their 2000 EP Sin, Sorrow and Sadness, their debut full-length album Too Bad You're Beautiful was released on Ferret Records in August 2001. The unique blend of melodic hardcore and innovative vocals executed on this album quickly made the band an underground success.
