Everybody Lives Lyrics

Everybody's got a first kiss
But not everybody makes it last
Everybody's got long list
Of some, some day I'm gonna do that
Whoa, but nobody needs time
Till it runs out
Oh, so why take a left
When you can take a right nowEverybody's got a future
But not everybody makes it past
Everybody's got a chance to take that some don't take
Till it's too late to take it back
Everybody's got a last breath
But not everybody breathes it in
Everybody dies
But not everybody lives
Not everybody lives
A lesson can't be learned
Unless there's a mistake

And a heart can never love
If it's too afraid to break
Whoa, so don't plan on the minute hand slowing down
Oh, noEverybody's got a future
But not everybody makes it past
Everybody's got a chance to take that some don't take
Till it's too late to take it back
Everybody's got a last breath
But not everybody breathes it in
Everybody dies
But not everybody lives
No, not everybody lives
Some people run from all the bad times
Till they run all out of good
Some people know how to say I love you
And some people wish they couldEverybody's got a future
But not everybody makes it past
Everybody's got a chance to take that some don't take
Till it's too late to take it back
Everybody's got a last breath
But not everybody breathes it in
Everybody dies
Everybody dies
But not everybody livesOh, oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Oh, oh oh, oh oh
(Oh oh oh)
Oh, oh oh, oh oh oh oh
(Oh oh oh)
Oh, oh oh, oh oh
(Oh oh)
Oh, oh oh, oh oh oh oh

Still in his 20’s having played two tours in Europe, three tours in Iraq and Kuwait for the American Soldiers, and three shows at the White House including two for President Bush himself, Granger Smith will never say he didn’t “Live life to the lees.” “Music is what I do” quips Smith. “If I can help someone get lost in the moment of a song long enough to forget the worries of the world or long enough to remember what’s most important, then I’ve done my job.” Granger’s musical contributions are not limited to the exotic travels or remote locations.
