Everybody out of the Water Lyrics

Now on your mark, get set, let's go
You got to move now before she explodes
Look out the window and out below
Back away from the glass, there she blowsThe city's been leveled, the hills are in flame
The streets cracked up and when we're pushing up clay
The temperatures dropped, the sky is gray
And it ain't even over comes driving rainMaybe that you feel
There's something moving around in here
That's blood, that's tears
This ain't the warningEverybody out of the water
And up on dry land, take what you can
'Cause you won't be here again
Everybody out of the waterNow I'm treading high water to get back to you
Looking for a low spot or something to cling to
There's too many bodies there's not enough room
God help me and God help youThey say nobody panic, help is on its way
We're already on it, you got to be brave
If you can fix it now then don't make us wait

Man, they ain't nobody coming back away from the caseThat bell you hear
That's hell ringing in your ears
I fear, my dear
This ain't a warningEverybody out of the water
And up on dry land, take what you can
'Cause you won't be here again
Well, I loved you then like I loved you now
That don't matter anyhow, well, this is the new frontier
Everybody out of the waterNow I'm looking up and the shit keeps coming
Like shooting ducks in a barrel of honey
You've got to learn how to pray but it won't be enough
Admit it now, your information sucksSide slip, down in, I think of a someplace high up a mountain
Smoke clears the fog lifts little by little we rebuilt again
But till thenEverybody out of the water
And up on dry land, take what you can
'Cause you won't be here again
Now I loved you then like I loved you now
It won't matter anyhow, well, this is the new frontier
Everybody out of the waterEverybody out of the water
Everybody out of the water

Two bands have used the name "The Wallflowers":
1. An American rock band
2. A British indie rock band

1. The Wallflowers are a rock band which formed in 1989 in Los Angeles, California, United States. The band's only constant member has been singer/guitarist Jakob Dylan, the son of folk rock legend Bob Dylan. The Wallflowers have released six albums: "The Wallflowers" (1992), "Bringing Down the Horse" (1996), "Breach" (2000), "Red Letter Days" (2002), "Rebel, Sweetheart" (2005) and "Glad All Over" (2012) The band is best known for their hit singles "One Headlight", "6th Avenue Heartache", "Three Marlenas" and "The Difference", all from their second album "Bringing Down the Horse".

The original members of the Wallflowers included Jakob Dylan (vocals and guitar), Barrie Maguire (bass guitar and vocals), Peter Yanowitz (drums and percussion), Rami Jaffee (keyboards and vocals), and Tobi Miller (guitar). Peter Yanowitz and Barrie Maguire left the band shortly after the album's release and went on to join Natalie Merchant's band. The band currently consists of Jakob Dylan and Rami Jaffee with Greg Richling (bass), Stuart Mathis (guitar) and Jack Irons (drums) . Although not an original member, Richling has been in the band longer than any other member aside from Dylan, joining in 1996. Elthringham joined in 2005.

The band left Interscope Records in 2005. According to the Reboot The Mission Songfacts, "Glad All Over", The Wallflowers’ first album for over seven years will be released by Columbia on October 2, 2012. The record was recorded at Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville.

2. The Wallflowers is also the name of UK 80's indie pop/jangle band, which released a number of singles.
