Everyday People Lyrics

Oh the times they are a changin'
I can feel it in the air
Oh can't you hear the bells of freedom
Ringin' everywhere?
And if you look across the ocean
You will see a shining light
And I know that come tomorrow
Everything will be alright
'Cause everyday people, are makin' a sound
They're gettin' together, and standin' their ground
You can build up the wall, but we'll tear it down
We are everyday people
And our numbers are many
But our hearts beat as one
We will fight to the finish
'Til the battle is won
For the right to be free
In a world without war

In a land where the giants
Can no longer ignore
The voice of our children
Who are cryin' revolution
Who inherit our pollution
If we don't change our ways
Oh, everyday people, are makin' a sound
They're gettin' together, and standin' their ground
You can build up the wall, but we'll tear it down
We are everyday people
Everyday people, are makin' a sound
They're gettin' together, and standin' their ground
You can build up the wall, but we'll tear it down
We are everyday people
Everyday people, are makin' a sound
They're gettin' together, and standin' their ground
You can build up the wall, but we'll tear it down
We are everyday people
Everyday people, are makin' a sound
They're gettin' together, and standin' their ground
You can build up the wall, but we'll tear it down
We are everyday people
Everyday people, are makin' a sound
They're gettin' together, and standin' their ground
You can build up the wall, but we'll tear it down
We are everyday people
Everyday people, are makin' a sound
They're gettin' together, and standin' their ground
You can build up the wall, but we'll tear it down
We are everyday people

Born in Gary, Ind., Brittanie K'LA Buggs had dreams bigger than the confines of her small town - even if it is the childhood home of Michael, Janet and the rest of the Jackson siblings. So, almost two years ago, the mother of two and a friend with two kids of her own moved to Atlanta to pursue their dreams. She was using her waitressing money to pay for studio time, when K'La eventually met Music Line CEO Anthony Tate during one of her sessions.
