Everyone Looks So Good from Here Lyrics

In a deep breath
And it all starts to change
Flip my world inside outHonestly I like it better this way
When I mesh the night
Through the back of my eyesI have put myself here
I'm the culprit
I am the culpritI've been swallowed up alive
Shut down building from the inside out
I can finally walk through the walls
Walk through the wallsI've been swallowed up alive
Shut down building from the inside out
I can finally walk through the walls
Walk through the wallsI swear I've slipped
Right through the cracks in the floorIt's so easy when it's pulling me under
It's so easy when it's pulling me under
It's so easy when it's pulling me underNow I can see things from the outside
And I will sit here with no place in mindI swear I've slipped
Right through the cracks in the floor

I swear I've slipped
Right through the cracks in the floorI can't escape from this place
I can't escape from, this is so unfamiliar
This is so unfamiliar to me, to me
To me, to meI can hear the unsatisfying silence
My mouth is open
But none of you can hear me

Underoath (occasionally typeset as underOATH or UNDERØATH) were an American band originally formed on November 30, 1997 in Ocala, Florida, but later relocated to Tampa, Florida, which was home to some of their newer members.

During the band's early years, when they were fronted by former vocalist Dallas Taylor, Underoath displayed a heavier style than their later, more well-known work, incorporating disparate influences from death and black metal. With Taylor, they released Act of Depression, Cries of the Past, and The Changing of Times.
