Everything Changes (Live At Hiro Ballroom) Lyrics

If you just walked away
What could I really say?
Would it matter anyway?
Would it change how you feel?I am the mess you chose
The closet you can not close
The devil in you, I suppose
'Cause the wounds never healBut everything changes if I could
Turn back the years if you could
Learn to forgive me
Then I could learn to feelSometimes the things I say
In moments of disarray
Succumbing to the games we play
To make sure that it's realAnd everything changes if I could
Turn back the years if you could
Learn to forgive me
Then I could learn to feelWhen it's just me and you
Who knows what we could do?
If we can just make it through

The toughest part of the dayBut everything changes if I could
Turn back the years if you could
Learn to forgive me
Then I could learn how to feelThen we could stay here together
And we could conquer the world
If we could say that forever
Is more than just a wordIf you just walked away
What could I really say?
And would it matter anyway?
It wouldn't change how you feel

Staind is an alternative metal band formed on November 24, 1995 in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. After meeting through friends and covering pop hits of the day in smalltime clubs for a year and a half, Staind self-released their debut album, Tormented, in November 1996, citing influences in brutal latin thrash metal. Until recently, the album was difficult to obtain, as only four thousand copies were originally sold. Since then, the band's official website has released the album to meet the demand from fans.
