Everything Louder Than Everything Else Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Wasted youth, wasted youthI know that I will never be politically correct
And I don't give a damn about my lack of etiquette
As far as I'm concerned, the world could still be flat
And if the thrill is gone, then it's time to take it back
If the thrill is gone, then it's time to take it backWho am I, why am I here?
Forget the questions, someone gimme another beer
What's the meaning of life, what's the meaning of it all?
You gotta learn to dance, before you learn to crawl
You gotta learn to dance, before you learn to crawlSo sign up all you raw recruits throw away those designer suits
You got your weapons cocked your targets in your sights

There's a party raging somewhere in the world
You gotta serve your country gotta service your girl
You're all enlisted in the armies of the night
Armies of the nightAnd I ain't in it for the power, and I ain't in it for my health
I ain't in it for the glory of anything at all
And I sure ain't in it for the wealth
But I'm in it till it's over and I just can't stop
If you wanna get it done you gotta do it yourself
Do it yourself, do it yourselfAnd I like my music like I like my life
Everything louder than everything else
Everything louder than everything else
Everything louder than everything elseEverything louder than everything else
Everything louder than everything else
Everything louder than everything elseWasted youth, wasted youth
Wasted youth, wasted youthThey got a file on me and it's a mile long
And they say that they got all of the proof
That I'm just another case of arrested development
And just another wasted youthThey say that I'm in need of some radical discipline
They say I gotta face the truth
That I'm just another case of arrested development
And just another wasted youthThey say I'm wild and I'm reckless
I should be acting my age
I'm an impressionable child in a tumultuous world
And they say I'm at a difficult stageBut it seems to me to the contrary
Of all the crap they're going to put on the page
That a wasted youth is better by far
Than a wise and productive old ageA wasted youth is better by far
Than a wise and productive old age
A wasted youth is better by far
Than a wise and productive old age
A wasted youth is better by far
Than a wise and productive old ageA wasted youth is better by far
Than a wise and productive old age
A wasted youth is better by far
Than a wise and productive old ageIf you want my views of history
Then there's something you should know
The three men I admire most are curly, Larry and Mo
If you don't worry 'bout the future sooner or later it's the past
And if they say the thrill is gone then it's time to take it back
If the thrill is gone then it's time to take it backSo sign up all you raw recruits throw away all those two bit suits
You got your weapons cocked your targets in your sights
There's a party raging somewhere in the world
You gotta serve your country gotta service your girl
You're all inducted in the armies of the nightAnd I ain't in it for the power, and I ain't in it for my health
I ain't in it for the glory of anything at all
And I sure ain't in it for the wealth
But I'm in it till it's over and I just can't stop
If you wanna get it done you gotta fight for yourself
And I like my music like I like my lifeEverything louder than everything else
Everything louder than everything else
Everything louder than everything else

Meat Loaf (born Marvin Lee Aday on September 27, 1947 in Dallas, Texas) is an American actor and rock and roll performer who came to fame with his album Bat Out of Hell and for his movie performances, including Eddie in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Robert "Bob" Paulson in Fight Club and Jack Black's father in Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny.

The All Of Me Songfacts reports that Meat Loaf described his 12th studio album, Hell in a Handbasket, to Billboard as, "the most personal record I've ever made.” He added: “It's about how I feel the world's gone to hell in a handbasket. It's really the first record that I've ever put out about how I feel about life and how I feel about what's going on at the moment." The LP was released September 30, 2011 in Australia, followed by a release in February and March 2012 worldwide.

Meat Loaf has had a very successful music career spawning some of the greatest selling albums of all time and breaking various records. Although he enjoyed success with Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell Trilogy, he experienced some initial difficulty establishing a steady career within the United States; however, he is considered a legend in the UK and across Europe. In the UK, he is ranked 23rd for number of weeks in the charts overall. Due to his anthemic songs and a performance for Radio Veronica in the Netherlands, he stormed up their Top 100 of all times making a top 10 spot 6 years in a row. He ranks at 96th on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of hard rock." His overall success in Europe and Australia has been exceptional and he is considered one of the top artists of all time.
