Everything That Touches You Lyrics

You say, you're all alone with visions all you're own
The things you feel nobody feels the same
But you know me, you know what I've been throughAnd everything that touches me
And everything that touches me
Everything that touches me, touches youFriends are all alone, may lighten up your love
By saying what they think, you really want to hear
But I'll only tell you what I've been is trueAnd everything that touches me
And everything that touches me
And everything that touches me, touches youShame 'cause I can't take you there
Unless I know a part of what you're thinking
Care 'cause it's only fair
Darling can't you feel my heart is breaking
My heart is breakingEverything that touches me
Everything that touches me
Everything that touches me, touches youEverything that touches me
Everything that touches me
Everything that touches me, touches youEverything that touches me
Everything that touches me

Everything that touches me, touches you

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
